Knaven (Goliath) our superstar Clydesdale.

Yesterday, we received some photos of one of our superstars, Goliath, who has been in his home with Wanda for a few years now. I asked Wanda to write a little bit for us, and she very kindly obliged immediately, and sent us back this piece.

Hello all,

I’ve adopted Knaven from the ERF in february 2009, he’s a big Clydesdale, since he has been working with us and my other horses in our association. He’s such a lovable and gentle horse that he soon became the star and has his own fan club.

The funny part of it all is that looking on his papers I realized that he came from the same area I use to live in Wales. Meant to be?

I love all my horses and Knaven is really part of the team and fitted in so well, he has a couple friends he goes out with, harry the donkey and leo a pony.

He’s a brilliant partner to people when we do horse coaching: which is to build up communication skills and learn to use it in a team environment.

Knaven being such a sweetie and an easy horse that my daughter decided to have her own gentle giant and got a shire from England that she will take out on display side saddle.

Please if anyone can adopt a horse from ERF, do so as they doing a great job and remember that animals are a life time responsibility!!

Wanda does some wonderful work with these horses, please take a look at her fascinating website;
