Yesterday we were out on the road visiting some of the ERF adopted donkeys. First stop was to see Maddie, Elly and Poppy who have been out under contract since 2009 in the Haute Vienne.

The 3 of them look superb and little Poppy has now grown into quite a big donkey. It’s nice to hear that they are now getting on well having their feet trimmed, which was a bit of a battle to start with, and still go everywhere very much as a trio!

Next we paid a visit to Brandy (formerly called Gucci) who lives with her donkey mate Phoebus in the Haute Vienne. Brandy has also grown so much in the past year, and at 3 years old is now quite a bit bigger than Phoebus. Brandy’s adopter says she is a bit of a Madam who likes to show her male donkey mate (and the chickens!) exactly who is boss. Despite this, her adopter says she wouldn’t be without her and the pair of donkeys are very popular with their campsite guests.

We still have Lena & Belle looking for an adoptive home, urgently now. Please consider offering these donkeys a forever home, they are both very friendly and love going out for walks. Please contact us for more details.
